Elections are determined by those who show up.

You know the saying “If you don’t vote, you can’t complain?” It’s not true.

People can - and do - always have the right to complain. That’s one of the things that makes a democracy a democracy. But if you don’t vote and your preferred candidate doesn’t win, you may spend the next four years of your life extremely frustrated.

Fast forward in your mind to January 20, 2026. The candidate you did not choose is being sworn in, ushering in an era of policy you probably don’t agree with.

And you sat home on November 4 and didn’t vote. Missed your chance at making your voice heard. You think to yourself “It’s going to be a long four years.”

If this happened to you during the 2024 election, now is the time to make a plan to vote in next month’s New Jersey election.

“Elections are determined by those who show up” is another frequently heard phrase. It’s also a very true phrase. Make sure to make your voice heard this November 4!

New Jersey has made it easier than ever to make sure your voice is heard. Vote-by-mail and early voting both help you cast your ballot if you can’t get to the voting booth on Election Day.
